Tijdens haar jaarlijkse Algemene Vergadering van 3 juni 2022 heeft de European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs (EFAA) drie nieuwe leden verwelkomd: het IBR, de Britse Association of International Accountants (AIA) en de Franse Conseil National de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (CNOEC).
EFAA for SMEs verdedigt de belangen van de kleine en middelgrote accountants- en auditkantoren en ijvert ervoor dat nieuwe regels en beleidsbeslissingen goed zijn aangepast en in verhouding staan tot de behoeften van deze kantoren en hun klanten, de KMO’s.
In een reactie aan IBR-voorzitter Patrick van Impe schreef EFAA-voorzitter Salvador Marin:
“Our fast-growing membership is testimony to the value of our work and the need for a strong voice representing small- and medium-sized practices (SMPs) in Europe. All three new members are a natural fit for EFAA. Most of the members of these PAOs work in or as SMPs. We look forward to admitting more members, European professional accountancy organizations (PAOs), keen to contribute to our mission to support and strengthen SMPs.”
